The Record of Metal & Numbers

Die Hard, in space, with robots. ROM&Ns follows PC, the last human alive, who has lived alone on the Alexandria (an archival spaceship, designed to survive the end of our universe and the start of the next) for the last 14 years with no one but a group of eccentric robotic vacuum cleaners for company. The arrival of two ships (one full of friendly robots, and the other containing a death-cult from the future) leaves PC laying siege to the home they’ve been trying to repair all their life with the fate of this universe and the next resting on their shoulders. ROM&Ns is a YA novel about isolation, anxiety, and finding joy in situations where everything feels utterly hopeless.

For fans of Douglas Adams, Neil Shusterman, and Becky Chambers.

Lizz is a writer, bookseller, and book hoarder from South Wales. After a childhood of writing plays and stories to make people laugh, she decided to take her mission international (and hopefully one day interplanetary), so she started to write books about anxious people like her doing incredible (and stupid, idiotic) things. Lizz works in a bookshop, where she gets paid to talk to children about stories that she loves (it's a great deal). When she’s not helping everyone find their new favourite book, you can find her stargazing, playing D&D, or designing boardgames with her best friend.
